Holland Red is a name I thought of when I found out a friend of mine from Holland commited suicide. If I ever started a band, I planned on having Holland Red become the name. No band as formed as of yet, but one never knows.

I graduated high school May 22, 2008 and it was probably one of the most relieving and sadest days of my life.

I do not attend any form of school, college, university as of yet. I hope to attend a culinary school in the near future, along with taking courses in business, restaurant management and hotel management.

I am German, but I do not speak the language. My heart resides in Germany and in New York City, although I live in Michigan. I have lived in Michigan all of my life.

I have very few friends that I consider "close" and I have very few friends in general. I have a lot of acquaintances that I happen to like, but I do not trust them enough to call them friends. I have trust issues.

I made this account mainly for the reason that I am most likely going to spend a year in Germany starting April 1, 2009 and I wanted to record the happenings of what I am learning and how my German is developing. For now, it will just be a journal for me to write in.

There may be times that what I have to say is pointless. There may be times when I feel like ranting. There may be times where I just want to share with you photos I found on the Internet that amuse me.
